"The worst thing I ever did was trust this person to install my bathroom cost thousands the smell in my house since it went in is awful as everyone says totally ignored my calls and texts from my mobile so I used a different phone then he picked up.. I have went to a solicitor with my complaint I really believe this man is a handy man calling himself a plumber... I have been asking for a receipt which he has never gave me but I have all correspondence with him the solicitor said I have plenty to take him to court which i will... someone has to pay for the plumber who has to fix this handyman so called plumber work..it says 30 years experience on his site what a joke... please please I would not wish this on anyone else do not go near this handyman"

"I was told that this individual was a reputable plumber and bathroom installer. But my experience with Alan Thompson/ Thompson NI was like a bad episode of Rogue traders. He had been asked to install a Wetroom. First issue was the wet room he quoted me £2000 to install was NOT even waterproofed!! He then totally destroyed an expensive recessed shower valve and knowingly concealed this from me which left me without a bathroom for a month. I discovered he had broken my shower valve when I decided to try the shower and was left with water pumping out of my wall and down the hallway He of course refused to pick up my calls and texts to find out how to turn the water off as it was happening. A feature wall radiator was left not level with crooked pipes attached to it. The toilet was installed not attached to the floor and left standing 6 inches from the wall. An expensive black glass basin was left covered in deep tool scratches and smeared with silicone. The Hot water was left with no pressure so only cold would run from it. A vanity was installed with the drawers underneath catching on the pipe work making it difficult to open and close. Everything this person touched is either broken or damaged and needs to be replaced or redone. To add insult he refused to refund my money, at first he gave me excuses which were then followed by veiled threats when I tried to approach him for it. It has cost me hundreds of pounds to put right as I had to employ a whole new firm to put it right. AVOID THIS CHARLATAN AT ALL COSTS."
